Foundation Degree
Part time and evening pathway
Taught over four weekends per year plus one evening a week for twenty four weeks with our colleagues at the Southern North West Training Partnership, this course is available both to those who can attend one of six teaching centres in the North West and to those who will mainly access it by e-learning and telephone tuition. Applications are welcome from anywhere in the UK. The course normally takes four years.
Luther King House Open College offers this part time undergraduate study through the Southern North-West Training Partnership, a free church and Anglican consortium offering a foundation degree validated by Chester and Liverpool Hope universities.

Midweek pathway
The Foundation Degree is also offered as a midweek taught programme where students study on a standard academic term on weekdays from September to June. With significant amounts of teaching taking place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and in a series of compact blocks.

Fees 2008-9
Full Time fees £2928 Part Time fees £1464 includes weekend residential fees. Community work fees vary according to number of credits taken. Students should also allow for any accommodation cost they might incur.
Bursaries are available to assist students from low income households. See details on the left hand side of this page.

Admission
Our undergraduate programmes do not have formal entry requirements; those applying need only to show us that they could benefit from taking the course.
